TFL Manifesto Brief During one of our CTS lessons, a staff member came down and asked us to create a manifesto for TFL. The message that they wanted to push across for the manifesto is, "The World is Your Oyster". We can create the manifesto in any form. Ideation Our team consisting of me, June and Piyush decided to create a video to showcase our manifesto. We wanted to showcase our relative skills. Piyush wants to pursue a film career, June is good in animation, while I'm pretty competent in graphic design and video editing. Therefore, for this project, we decided to merge these 3 disciplines. The idea came pretty fast for us as the quote that was said at the beginning, "The World is Your Oyster" pretty much told us everything. Our main concept for the video was to show what kind of possibilities are out there when you use the Oyster card. With the incorporation of fun little animations drawn by June into our video, it is a whimsical take on our journ

Personal Manifesto

Brief We were tasked to demonstrate an awareness of what our practice is about as well as express our passion and commitment for the particular direction that we are aiming for. Ideation To start, I thought of what was the particular direction that I want to take after I finish this course. Personally, I felt the greatest urge for graphic design and illustration. These are the two things that I feel most passionate about. Figure 1. (New International Version, 2008). This verse spoke directly to the main message of my manif

Personal Progression Project - Process & Research

Brief We are to create a piece of work that showcases our personal interest and direction towards our future pathway. It can be in any form. First thoughts & Ideation My initial thought process for my personal project was to come up with a topic that suited my outlook in life. At first, I was particularly inspired by the concept of light and how our words can bring light into other people's lives. It reflected upon my personal experience on how people used to make comments about my appearance when I was younger and it made me feel insecure. This mini idea stemmed into something more and I further developed it by writing down my thoughts in my sketchbook. Figure 1. Initial brainstorm of topics I wanted to tackle for my PPP As seen in the image above (refer to Figure 1), I created a mind map of things that I like and admire. It's to help me give me a broader idea of what I truly am passionate about and would like to use as a form for my PPP. I initially wanted to
